Best way to get around in Berlin
The best way and usually the fastest one is to use S-Bahn and RE-trains to get around between different main points. From these points you usually can just walk around since Berlin is a quite good city for walking. Berlin also has U-Bahn, which is metro, however the metro tends to have more stops and thereby be slower. As a tourist a Berlin Card with unlimited travels for a period is probably a good deal.

If you like techno music you should go to the club Tresor. If you don’t then you should go there anyway since the club is very cool with the special interior underground design. This is definitive something which you will remember for a long time.
Shopping in Berlin
You should go to the Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) warehouse, at Wittenbergplatz, which is one of the biggest in Europe if you want to do some shopping. However if you prefer more traditional markets then you should visit Hackescher Markt close to Spandauer Vorstadt. There you will find the market and streets close by with even more shops and restaurants.
